What is a hyperlink?

A kind of word, text, or image that is present on a website or a web page. It can be in any text form that can be read by users and is known as a hyperlink. When a user clicks on that link, the link gets highlighted automatically, and after that, the user is redirected to a different set of web pages, blog pages, or any other section within that same web page or article. A hypertext uses an HTML code to identify the destination (another web page, new window, section, or document).

Inline links or anchor hyperlinks are some of the examples of hyperlinks.
