Fired Pixel
A piece of code inserted on the page where a sale is generated, such as the “thank you” page. A fired pixel indicates that a unique Click ID has been generated when a potential customer clicks on an affiliate link.
Frequency Capping

Feeder Sites

First Click

Internal linking

Inbound linking

In-house

Impression

In affiliate marketing, an instance when a promotional content such as a banner, link, or text is displayed to a website visitor.

Lead

In affiliate marketing, an action taken by a visitor such as signing up for a newsletter or registering for a service, other than making a purchase.

Link Farm
A collection of websites created with the sole purpose of generating numerous outbound links to other websites, increasing the popularity and indexing of the linked websites. Link farms can be created manually or through computer programs.
Link building
The process of obtaining hyperlinks from other websites to improve a website’s popularity and indexing.
Last click
A model in affiliate marketing where the last interaction prior to a conversion is attributed entirely to the user or marketing channel. This model is frequently employed by novice merchants and tends to over-credit conversions.
Lifetime value
The total amount of money a customer spends with a business over their lifetime, also referred to as customer lifetime value (CLV).
Meta Description
