Glossary > Outbound Links
Learn what is outbound and how to place them on our website. An outbound link is a link that sends the users outside the website from the links that we have placed on our website. These types of links are also known as external links.
As an example, let’s assume our affiliate website is linked to some other external affiliate website. That website’s links are called outbound links for our website. Any link that drives any user to any other outside website is called an outbound link. Inbound links are the opposite; if any user is coming to our website from any outside link, that link is called an inbound link for our website.
External or outbound links are simply the links that we connect to our site and that do not belong to us. The domain name and URL are different from our website.
